Trade Facilitation Working Group meeting was held in Manila 20-30 September 2011. AFFA was invited to participate. Important background paper: ASEAN Strategic Transport Plan. ("Brunei Action Plan"). Download the plan here. This plan is part of the development of the ASEAN Economic Community.

The 21th AFFA Annual General Meeting, 2011

 

The time is here again!

Time for the Annual General Meeting of AFFA.

Place: wonderful MYANMAR.

The 21st AGM will be held in Yangon on 27 and 28 October. Representatives from the 10 ASEAN countries will join together to discuss issues and strategies related to the freight forwarding industry.

 

All major developments which will affect freight forwarders in ASEAN will be discussed in detail.

 

The AGM will be preceded by the WGET meeting (Working Group on Education and Training). The WGET meeting is the 11th meeting in succession. In the WGET meeting the training specialists from all National Associations will put their heads together to evaluate the work done in the past year and to decide on the strategy and methodology to move forward.
