21th AFFA AGM and 11th WGET meeting,
Yangon, 27 and 28 Oct 2011
In October 2011 the AFFA family had the good chance to move to the city of Yangon, Myanmar, to conduct again the AFFA AGM, the important annual event where major issues are discussed.
We all enjoyed the traditional Myanmar hospitality and the conference was flawlessly organised by MIFFA.
In the next few days all the conference documents will be uploaded on the website. You will be able to review all the input from all members and also extend this information to the members of your national association.
AFFA WGET meeting in Bangkok-30 January 2011
On 30 January 2011 the next AFFA WGET meeting will be held under chairmanship of Mr. Thomas Sim. The meeting will take place in the Four Wings Hotel in Bangkok.
It is expected that representatives of all AFFA members will participante in this important event.

Inspection of the East-West Corridor by high level Ministerial delegations-12 January 2011
Inspection of customs procedures, faciltities and obstacles along the East-West Corridor on the sector Mukdahan (Thailand)-Suwannakhet(Laos)-LaoBao(Laos)-Dong Ha(Vietnam).
This event was participated by Khun Tui, Vice President of CAMFFA on special invitation of the Cambodian Government Delegation.

20 th AFFA Annual General Meeting 2010 and 9 th WGET meeting 2010.
This great event was held concurringly with the FIATA meeting in Bangkok, from 8 to 9 October. The succesful organisation was thanks to the efforts of TIFFA.
The WGET and AGM attracted a great many of delegates. Notably all AFFA member associations were present at the meetings!

19 th AFFA Annual General Meeting 2009 and 8 th WGET meeting 2009 (Ho Chi Minh City).
The 19 th AFFA Annual General Meeting 2009 and the 8th meeting of the Working Group on Education and Training (WGET) 2009 was held on 11-13 November 2009 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The meetings will generously be hosted by the Vietnam Freight Forwarders Association, VIFFAS.

EIGHTEENTH ASEAN TRANSPORT FACILITATION WORKING GROUP MEETING 30 Sept. – 1 Oct. 2009, SINGAPORE
From 30 September to 1 October 2009, the 18th ASEAN Working Group Meeting was held in Singapore. Representatives of AFFA participated in the meeting.
Important issues were discussed and a large number of documents have become available from this meeting.

6th ASEAN Transport Facilitation Working Group (TFWG) - AFFA Forum.
On 30 September the 6th Forum between the TFWG and AFFA will be held in Singapore. The subject of the meeting will be: The Operationalisation of the ASEAN Framework Agreement on the Multimodal Transport.

18 th AFFA Annual General Meeting 2008 and 7 th WGET meeting 2008 (Phnom Penh).
The 18 th AFFA AGM and the 7th WGET meeting, were held from 17-18 October 2008 at the Cambodiana Hotel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The meeting was hosted by the Cambodian Freight Forwarders Association (CAMFFA). In a sense it was a historic event because it was the first time that an AFFA meeting was held in Cambodia.
On the photo AFFA chairmain Mr. Masli Mulia thanks the Cambodian Secretary of State of the Ministry of Transport for the honour of the official Opening Speech.
The meeting was generously sponsored by Luka Koper Port. On the photo below the Chief Executives from Luka Koper Port pose with the Cambodia's Secretary of State at the closing ceremony.
